1. Introduction

Welcome to Curious About Nutrition (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services, which include one-on-one coaching, self-paced coaching (future), and community access, focused on women's health and wellness. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with these Terms.

2. Eligibility

By using our website and services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

3. Services Provided

We provide the following services:

  • One-on-One Coaching: Monthly coaching that includes two sessions per month: one 30-minute Zoom meeting and one Loom video check-in. This service delivers a three-step approach focused on improving liver and internal organ function, gut health, and hormone health, often based on lab results. Coaching addresses various client goals, including weight loss/gain, improved body composition, and workout plans.

  • Self-Paced Coaching (Future): A future service that will consist of an online nutrition course with pre-recorded Loom videos and Google presentations.

  • Community Access: An online platform (School) that allows clients to communicate with peers, ask questions, and access resources such as handouts and e-books.

4. Payment Terms

  • One-on-one coaching is a monthly subscription service:

    • Two times a month coaching: $500/month.

    • One time a month coaching: $300/month.

  • Payments are processed automatically via Stripe.

  • Supplements purchased through us are a one-time invoice and are not part of the coaching subscription.

  • Clients commit to a six-month contract for coaching services.

  • After the initial six-month period, the contract continues month to month.

5. Cancellation Policy

  • Clients cannot cancel their coaching contract before the initial six-month period, except in extreme circumstances. In such cases, cancellation is at the discretion of Curious About Nutrition.

  • Curious About Nutrition may offer to pause the contract for one to three months as an alternative to cancellation.

  • To cancel a month-to-month contract (after the initial six months), clients must provide 30 days' notice.

6. Refund Policy

  • Refunds are generally limited to situations involving Stripe processing errors or issues with card changes.

  • Refunds are not typically issued for coaching services.

  • In exceptional circumstances, refunds may be considered at the discretion of Curious About Nutrition. The preferred solution is to pause the client's contract.

7. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients are required to fill out a Google Form tracker.

  • If the tracker is not completed before a Loom check-in, Curious About Nutrition will notify the client and may delay responding to client emails.

  • If clients fail to fulfill their responsibilities (e.g., not checking in), Curious About Nutrition may attempt to contact them via email, phone, or text.

  • Clients are still responsible for payments during periods of non-compliance within the six-month contract.

8. Intellectual Property

  • Curious About Nutrition provides clients with materials such as meal plans, workouts, guides, recordings, supplement charts, and resources.

  • Clients retain access to their supplement and meal plans after the program ends but will not receive updates.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

  • Any losses resulting from the implementation or non-implementation of our recommendations.

Our total liability, in any case, is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service provided.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms.

11. Privacy Policy

Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which details how we collect, use, and protect your information.

12. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our website or services after such changes indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Illinois. Any disputes arising under or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Illinois.
